Scott & White Healthcare Awarded Southwest Solutions Group a Contract for a New Pharmacy Storage System
Southwest Solutions Group was awarded a contract by Scott & White Healthcare to design and organize their new pharmacy space.
ADDISON, TX, September 22, 2011 /Texas PR News/ -- Scott & White Healthcare recently renovated one of their hospitals, and as part of the renovation project the pharmacy needed to be organized for optimum use of space and productivity. Southwest Solutions Group worked with Scott & White to design a dual access shelving system with easily adjustable shelves to accommodate future supplies of different sizes. "We inventoried all of their SKU's based on size, shape, weight, and activity; then, we optimized the floor space for space savings and productivity. Pharmaceuticals were organized in less than half the space and will provide an estimated 35% increase in restocking and retrieval time," commented Matt Howell, Southwest Solutions Group's Sales Engineer on the project.
