Award-winning writer and communications consultant Linda Mastaglio, founder and owner of TWI-PR, wins MarCom Awards for management tools marketing kit for Texas Woman's University.
VAN, TX, January 13, 2012 /Texas PR News/ -- TWI-PR (www.twi.pr.com) announces that the public relations firm has won a Platinum MarCom Award for The Changing Paradigm, a spiral-bound marketing kit of process management tools produced for the School of Management at Texas Woman's University (TWU).
The tools provide a method for undergraduate and graduate School of Management students to improve quality management systems and to hone their skills in the following areas: Leadership, Organization, Problem Solving, Management, Decision Making, and Planning.
The Changing Paradigm, the same management tools in book form, won a Gold MarCom Award. It compiles the booklets into a perfect-bound book with a distinctive cover of 111#High White Flow GMUND3. The text paper is 100#Platinum Silk, and the fly sheet dividers are 65#Clear curious Translucent Cover
"We wanted something that would stand out, give our piece some depth and texture, and showcase our photos and vibrant color choices. The GMUND3 did exactly that," says Darcie Lantz, owner/designer with Freelantz Design.
The tools were conceived by Drs. Paula Ann and David Gordon from the School of Management at TWU. "The students value these unique pieces and are using them in their professional work environments to improve quality and to engage their work teams through the unique presentation format," says Dr. Paula Ann Gordon. "Graduate and undergraduate students alike comment that these tools offer timeless lessons that will penetrate their work processes throughout their professional careers."
"MarCom is an international awards competition that recognizes outstanding creative achievement by marketing and communication professionals," says Carol Scott, program manager at TWI-PR. "There were over 6,000 entries from throughout the United States, Canada, and several other countries in the 2011 competition."
